Railroad tamper (Ballast tamper)

Built this 3d model of a railroad tamper in Blender for ifm efector USA. It was used to showcase the companies sensors and information for product marketing on the web.

A specialized, rail-mounted machine that stabilizes railway tracks by lifting them and compacting the ballast (gravel) underneath the sleepers to improve track geometry, safety, and durability.
